It is generally intended for learners entering the Focused Training Pathway. **Is the course fully online?** No. The course includes practical demonstrations and is offered through accredited ASTEP course providers. Travel may be required if no provider is available near you. **How much does the course cost?** Each accredited provider sets its own fees. Contact the provider directly for current pricing, schedules, and registration requirements. **What does the course cover?** - Sleep disorders - EEG and sleep staging - Patient preparation - Respiratory and cardiovascular monitoring - Sleep-related breathing disorders - Movement disorders - Sleep-study procedures **Is there a Final Exam?** Yes. After completing the course, learners take the online Intro to Sleep Medicine for Technologists Final Exam. A score of at least 70% is required. Learners will receive an email with testing instructions and a code to take the final exam independently. Or they will receive instructions from their provider if the final will be proctored on-site at the provider's location.  *Completing the course and Final Exam does not award a CPSGT or RPSGT credential.
