How Do I Request a Refund or Exchange for the ASTEP educational program?

Learn when you can request an ASTEP refund or course change and how to submit your request.

Who can submit a request?  

You may request a refund or course exchange if any or all of the following conditions apply:

  • Your purchase was made within the past 30 days.
  • You have not completed any modules or exams in your ASTEP account.
  • The educational program that you would like to switch to is of equal dollar amount.
How to Submit Your Request:

To submit a refund or course-exchange request for review, email astep@aasm.org with the information below. Submission does not guarantee approval.

  • Your full name
  • Your ASTEP account email address
  • The name of the educational program you purchased
  • Whether you’d like a refund or to exchange the program for equal value (e.g., exchange the Intro to Clinical Sleep Medicine for APPs ($750) for the Intro to Sleep Medicine for Technologists Modules ($750)).
What Happens Next:

All requests must be reviewed. Approval is not automatic. If your educational program exchange is approved, access to your original program will be removed before you receive access to the new educational program.
