# Participation in the AASM Sleep Team Education Program (ASTEP)

You do not have to be a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) to participate in their educational programs, including the AASM Sleep Team Education Program (ASTEP). While membership offers benefits such as discounts and additional resources, it is not a requirement for enrollment in the program itself.
